I have a tendency to not read TV guides either in the paper or online. A mix between not wanting to get overly attached to any one show (e.g I can't go there, my show's playing on TV and it could never be shown again - yes go the Lemonheads!) and liking to be surprised.
Anyway, today was a bit of a lazy one and it turned out to be a good one. First of all, around lunchtime I caught some of Daleks - Invasion Earth 2150 AD starring Peter Cushing (and a younger Bernard Cribbens)...cool. I simply had to watch some of the more recent seasons after watching it so I put on a variety of episodes from Seasons 1, 2 and 5.
Then while eating dinner this evening I discovered that Alien (the original, and in some ways the best I think) was due to start in 10 minutes. It's been ages since I've seen the original as my DVD is scratched and there always seems to be something else to buy when I go into JB.
Fun times indeed.
